- Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet
- Firearms must be carried in accordance with Kentucky state law
- No weapons allowed in park buildings and caves
- Food must be stored in vehicles to prevent wildlife access
Firewood Quarantine
- Firewood from certain states is quarantined due to insect infestation
- Transport of firewood into the park is prohibited
- Gather fallen or dead wood within the park or purchase from the Caver’s Camp Store

Mammoth Cave National Park: A Geological Wonder
